Description
Applies theoretical knowledge and models of social work to agency practice. Students apply the generalist perspective to develop competence in both micro and macro areas of social work practice under the supervision of an approved clinical instructor. Students gain skills in maintaining working relationships, developing multidimensional assessments, differentially applying intervention strategies taking into account the unique attributes of each client system, and conducting appropriate evaluation of practice interventions.
