Description
Hand-made flies are not only beautiful works of art, they are the foundation of every successful fishing trip. Learn the basics of freshwater fly construction as well as which flies to use in the waters of the intermountain West in this hands-on class. We'll cover tools and technique, the natural baits the flies you tie represent, and where you can try out your creations in Utah and Idaho. Emphasis is on local waters, patterns, and resources. All equipment and materials are furnished. Dave is district executive for the Boy Scouts of America and the Green River guide for Trout Creek Fliers. He has been fly fishing for 40 years.
