HECDV 100 - Making a Career on Campus

This two-day workshop on landing a job at a university or college details how to begin or advance your career in higher education. It includes information and career assessments vital to anyone interested in campus employment. Topics include the job application procedure; developing a university career plan; information about fringe and employee benefits and compensation; valuing proficiency with technology; and candid discussions to help you gauge the rewards available from making a career on campus. Administration and interpretation of interest and personality assessment instruments and how the results relate to careers in higher education is included. The course will be offered at various locations around the Salt Lake Valley and in Park City.
