Description
What do you get when a French pastry chef prepares a vegetarian menu? Mouth-watering, easy-to-prepare recipes that are sure to please everyone. Week one: lentil and orzo minestrone, goat cheese and polenta tart, pesto tempeh kabobs, 'crazy' strawberries, and chocolate chip and almond biscotti. Week two: Rice paper roll-ups with peanut dipping sauce, hot and sour miso soup, baked marinated tofu with Oriental stir-fry, steamed brown rice, and homemade fortune cookies. Week three: Swiss chard and butternut squash enchiladas, ensalada de Mayan, chayote and black bean saute, chocolate flan, and polvorones (butter cookies). Arrive hungry!
