Description
Are you curious about how llamas can help you and your family enjoy the solitude and beauty of the backcountry? Trained, conditioned pack llamas are reliable, can generally carry about 70 pounds, are pleasant trail companions, and are gentle enough to be led by children. We'll learn about the care, feeding, and watering of llamas, as well as saddling, packing gear, and navigating trails and water crossings as we hike in a beautiful high-desert setting. One child between the ages of 8 and 15 may attend free with a registered adult.
