Description
Quick growth in an expanding business requires development of a true Human Resources program. In today's environment most jobs in the US are created due to development or growth in what has traditionally been known as start up or small businesses. Whether the growth is through a quick growth spurt or a more controlled plan, success for the Human Resources area depends on being aware of and dealing with regulatory issues, outsourcing, staffing, compensation and benefits, policies and procedures. Additionally the Human Resources Department is often the founder of the program relating to education, training and development. This course explores the issues an organization must acknowledge in the development of an overall Human Resources department and provides information students may develop and use in their professional lives within developing organizations. This Program has been approved for recertification credit hours toward PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
