ELP 6470 - Higher Education Budgeting & Planning

Course is designed to introduce students to various planning and resource allocation models at state, institutional and program or departmental levels. Students completing this course should be knowledgeable enough to conceptualize and lead planning exercise and should have a basic understanding of college and university funding and specific budget models such as Responsibility Center Budgeting, formulas, and strategies for budget reductions. Meets with 7470. Students enrolled in 7470 will be held to a higher standard and may be assigned additional coursework.
