Description
The passion and warmth that defines the Italian culture is not just in its people--it's part of the land itself, and in wine talk, that means terroir, the place where grapes for winemaking absorb their unique flavors. Italy's distinctive red and white wines date back thousands of years; enjoy these ancient yet modern tastes as we sample reds and whites from throughout the country. Each week we will sample 4 to 5 wines from a different region, pairing appetizers with our wines to discover how one complements the other. Should you wish, you may join the instructor for an optional dinner at Lugano's after class (price of dinner not included in class fee). Please bring a photo ID that indicates your age to class. Special fee covers appetizers and all tastings.
