Description
The content of this course is focused on the nursing assessment and management of individuals with mental illnesses and their families. The course explores the mental health-mental illness continuum across the lifespan and gives students an understanding of basic mental processes and nursing interventions to increase coping. Cultural, legal, and ethical implications of mental illness will be examined.
