Description
Learning to draw what you see accurately is a thinking motor skill that can be taught in a matter of hours. Drawing well is not just a matter of talent. A realistic drawing relies on a variety of tactics that are easy to learn and well within the grasp of anyone over the age of eight. The process developed by pop art legend, Jann Haworth, has been used in her residencies all over the state and examples of some of the drawings can be seen on her website: www.JannHaworth.com. Drawing well is a wonderful confidence builder; it advances fine motor skills, particularly handwriting; and encourages alert observation and attention. Learning to draw is much more than a pleasurable pastime.
