Description
Practice the craft and art of imaginative writing. Explore the elements of language, form, voice, and style that make up poetry, fiction, and personal essay. Use exercises and models of professional and student writing to stimulate the imagination. Through the workshop process, become sensitive to specific yet constructive commentary. This course may be taken in conjunction with English Literature & Composition for a full year of English credit. (Recommended for one-half English elective high school credit.)
