Description
Every body is different, and yet there are some universal principles that every body obeys. How can we resist forces, such as gravity, that seem to work against us? This class will explore how to work with gravity, and get gravity working for you, not against you. We will use the 'Universal Principles of Alignment' from Anusara style yoga along with some of the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, including Tai Chi-Chi Gong exercises, acupoints, and meridians. The course will include an introduction to the history and philosophy of each tradition as well as gentle but powerful physical activity. Class is suitable for all abilities and can be repeated.
