Description
This course is designed for those who have taken Shell Scripting Level 1, or have equivalent experience, and require greater productivity within the Unix environment. The two most popular Shells used in the Unix environment are covered: The Korn Shell and the Bash Shell. The Bash and Korn Shell are the two most typical shells used by corporate America. The Bash Shell is used as the default shell on Linux systems, Apple's OS X, and the CYGWIN PC desktop application. Students will learn more advanced scripting strategies, methodologies and create several working scripts. Must have advanced working knowledge of UNIX or Linux commands, or have completed Shell Scripting Level 1.
