Description
Had a travel experience you want to share but don't know how? Join us in this 4-meeting course as we explore how to craft thoughtful, colorful, and memorable travel articles. Discover the many types of travel articles you can write (such as destinations, round-ups, special interest, and personal essays). In-class exercises will teach you to fill your journal with entries that lead to first drafts. Learn how to find information, verify it, and bring it to life on the page. Organize your articles and make them flow from an enticing beginning to a satisfying ending. And don't be surprised if you hear the call of the road! The world is full of fascinating places and readers who stayed home. Michele is the author of The Cowboy Life and the co-author of Chinese Cookery. A former magazine editor in New York, Michele has written for many national publications, including Travel Holiday, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, Outside, Discovery, Self, Money, More, McCall's, Parenting, Ladies' Home Journal and Diversion.
