Description
Turn summer's bounty into delicious, nutritious food you can eat all winter long. We'll look at dehydrating, pickling, freezing, and canning as methods of preservation as we compare their relative abilities to retain both nutrition and flavor. We'll then examine the relative merits of freezer, basement, and outdoor pit storage. Emphasis is on nutrition and locally produced organic produce. Special fee covers dehydrated and pickled food samples.
