LLART 119 - Plein-Air Landscape Workshop: Oil

Embrace the beauty and challenges of outdoor painting. Plein-air painting is working ala prima wet into wet and capturing the scene in a few hours just as the Impressionist Painters of the 1800's. The focus is on completing one painting per day. Each day you will work on a different concept; color, composition, aerial perspective, center of interest and linear perspective.Please bring everything you need to paint outside (chair, drinking water, sunscreen, hat, and all your painting supplies). You are responsible for your materials; you can find a list online or call 587-5433. Please meet in the park's southwest parking lot (900 E. 2300 S.) at 8:50AM. This class is limited to 12.
