Description
Meets with SP ED 6141. This course is designed for perspective special education teachers in the mild/moderate program. Empirically validated instructional procedures are presented to address math for students with disabilities. The focus will be on assessing student's skills as well as planning and implementing appropriate instructional procedures. Students will apply their skills in the classroom setting. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Identify student's instructional needs through assessment and error analysis. 2. Demonstrate knowledge of determining appropriate instructional strategies. 3. Implement appropriate instructional strategies based on a student's skills level.
