Description
In 2010, the US Department of Labor's budget will grow by more than 30 percent. A lion's share of this increase will be dedicated to the heightened oversight and enforcement of Executive Order 11246. Human resource professionals recognize this Executive order as the legislation that requires Federal contractors to write and maintain an annual affirmative action plan. Many companies think they are exempt from this requirement but with evolving Federal directives and state and municipal contractual agreements, now is the time to revisit your company's compliance. In this course, we'll examine which organizations are required to have an up-to-date plan (you may be surprised!) and what it should contain to pass an audit. We'll also discuss the Federal review process and on-going record keeping.
