HONOR 2350 - Summation Course on Social Change

This summation course will provide students with a historic and contemporary context for analyzing methods, and the cultivation of leadership skills. The course will be offered in a hands-on workshop format. Students will engage in discussions of readings to help students develop a theoretical base for their work, as well as meet with community leaders and organizers. Students will also participate in a variety of community-based activities such as attendance at city council meetings, participation in community-organized events, and application of both the theoretical and the practical as they learn leadership and organizing skills.
