Rock Climbing experience and an understanding of climbing systems are required. Current WRF or higher wilderness medicine certification required. Class combines some weekend meetings. Students must supply some personal safety equipment, which they must own, buy or rent. Contact rescue@utah.edu for more information or to be added to the waitliest if class is full. Attendance at the first class meeting is mandatory. Saturday classes required 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, and 10/1.
