Description
The two-credit National Service Academy course is intended for law students and other University graduate students who are interested in veterans' higher education issues and national and international service operations. In this class students will study the core competencies necessary to plan and implement a complex assistance operation at home or abroad. Students will study civilian efforts to provide crisis response, reconstruction, stabilization, and strengthened rule of law capacity. Students will write two short papers analyzing the 2010 National Strategic Narrative and the 2010 Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review, plus a substantial final paper analyzing a successful or failed international assistance operation.
