Looking to relax and renew? Through the use of supportive props, Restorative Yoga alternately stimulates and relaxes the body, creating physiological balance. The poses soothe the nervous system and can reduce the effects of stress-related disease. Restorative practice is especially effective at alleviating the stresses we experience at challenging times in our lives, such as illness, loss, overwork, or life changes, as well as everyday stresses. It's a wonderful way to prepare your body for sleep and is helpful for insomnia. Registration for this class buys you a 10-punch card, good for Restorative, Power I, and Fundamentals classes. You may purchase or renew a punch card at any time during the term; cards will be honored for six months. Co-sponsored with Avenues Yoga.
