Description
Study quadratic equations and their graphs and methods of solving systems of equations. Investigate real number exponents and complex numbers. Develop proficiency with the algebra of polynomials and rational functions. This is a fast-paced course in intermediate algebra (Algebra 2). NOTE: This intensive course is the second year of algebra. Students must have completed a successful year of algebra 1. Each section is recommended for one semester math core credit. The two sections should be taken consecutively for a full year of high school credit. High school credit may not be available for those entering grades 7 and 8.
