Description
The Master's Project is a capstone course divided over two semesters. Overall, the course involves the completion of an off-site complex information system development, strategic planning or research project. Students work in teams under the supervision of an on-site contact and in consultation with an IS/OIS faculty member. The project objective is to allow the student to integrate knowledge from individual courses and further expose student to new topics or techniques. The second half of the courses involves project execution (completing deliverables). The course culminates with the submission of a written report and a professional presentation of project results by the student team for MSIS faculty, industry partners, and fellow students.
