Description
Food, its preparation, how and what we eat is often based in our culture, our spirituality, our sense of belonging and where we came from. It is an expression of how we see and interact with the world around us, as well as a ritualized way of interacting with each other. We will discuss food rituals and customs across cultures and discuss the meanings we, as humans, place on food and food rituals. We'll sample foods from some of those rituals to enhance our experience as we examine the meanings we place on what we eat and how.
