Discover the ten Crus of Beaujolais and the best ones to buy for long term aging. Don't let the quaffable reputation of Nouveau Beaujolais dissuade you from a region in France which is known for the Gamay grape, both Nouveau and friendly as well as serious wine for the cellar and your table. We will taste six Beaujolais reds and learn about the winemaking process which sets this region, connected to Burgundy, apart from the rest. You will take home a list of the Beaujolais wines available for purchase in our State wine stores and a profile sheet to describe each of the Cru (top growth) areas. Please bring a photo ID that indicates your age to class. Special fee covers all tastings.
