Field session in Cataract Canyon, overnight March 8 - 13. No prior experience neccessary. Course will examine techniques, strategies and skill sets necessary to work as a commercial whitewater guide on class I-IV rivers. Emphasis on Oar & Paddle rafting skills, accidents and rescue, rigging, etiquette, food prep and packing, trip leading, customer care and service, LNT and river-based natural resource management will also be covered.
