Description
Most homes today have multiple computers and electronic devices. Creating a home wireless network is a great way to provide access and share resources among them. Moving from a wired network connection to wireless has its benefits, but can be daunting. Questions such as, "Which router should I buy?" and "How do I make sure my network is secure?" and "How do I connect devices to my network?" are common. Packed with helpful tips and "how-to" information, we'll start with what to look for when purchasing a router, move to how to set up and secure your network, then discuss troubleshooting and additional features you can add to your network. Practical and hands-on, you'll see a network set up during class. Bring a laptop or other electronic device and practice connecting with your device. Have specific questions? Bring them, too. We have answers.
