Description
Learning, eating, and tasting, all with an interesting group of people in a delightful setting, is a recipe for a great evening out. Our main focus will be on Campania, the region around Naples, where seafood is key. In Campania, the proud Italians grow grapes and produce tasty ancient varietal wines like Greco di Tufo, Falanghina, and Fiano di Avelina. As we discuss the ancient roots of the wines of the region, the characteristics of the grapes, and how wine and food have influenced our lives, we will taste these crisp and aromatic whites and a couple of reds and enjoy small plates of compatible food.
