Course Components:
Meets with EDU 5201. The purpose of this course is to examine issues related to the language awareness within the context of K-12 classroom settings. Assist teachers in advancing their awareness of language development with a specific focus on first and second language acquisition with in the context of diverse classroom settings. By participating in the seminar and field practicum students will experience that application of theories of language acquisition with specific emphasis on literacy and content area instruction.
