Description
Learn how to create a whole color palette in your metal designs with the art of enameling, an ancient art that fuses glass to metal. Class is an introduction to both torch and kiln fired enameling techniques to make a wide range of patterns and colors on copper enameled pieces. Techniques include salt water etching, sifting, wet inlay, mixing colors by layering, kiln properties and methods for torch firing . In addition to a lot of experimentation, you'll produce at least three finished pieces. No previous metalworking experience necessary. Special fee covers all materials. Class is limited to 8.
