Description
Take the basic photography elements covered in Nuts Bolts I and put them together to further your creativity. After a quick review of the ABCs of making a photograph covered in Nuts and Bolts I, alternatively pass the online quiz, we will venture outdoors to practice putting these building blocks together. Students will be guided through a deliberate image-making process subject selection, composition and framing, exposure, color rendition and focusing. The goal is to slow down, practice the skill of pre-visualization, and harness the technological power of the camera to express your unique vision. (Point-and-shoot photgraphers: please consider Make the Most of Your Point-and-Shoot Camera, LLART 196.) Please bring your camera and gear you can comfortably carry around for 2 hours. Trpod encouraged. Want more guided practice with the basics? Take Nuts and Bolts I (LLART 193) before this class. Class is limited to 10.
