Description
The image of Italy in the world is tightly connected with the global diffusion of its leading "Made in Italy" products, among which food, wine, and fashion may be the most well-known. A hundred years ago, Italian emigrants exported this heritage and their descendants kept improving it. Right now, the new wave of Italian immigration still brings cultural richness and even advances to science and medicine to our state. This course offers the opportunity to gain insight into this phenomenon through a wide range of classroom, tasting and field trip experiences. Three tastings, wine, salami, and chocolate, are included.
