Description
Over 150 years, Rome's army grew from a seasonal, part-time levy, raised in emergencies, to a full-time professional army capable of campaigning far from home. Legionary equipment was standardized and logistics were simplified. The legions were reorganized and streamlined to make them more efficient. All of these changes made it possible for ambitious generals like Julius Caesar to use these legions to put their own mark upon history. Come march with Caesar and his veteran Tenth Legion as they face the challenges of expanding the Roman lifestyle to the Gallic world.
