Prerequisite: Admission to the DPT Program; Successful completion of PH TH 6010, 6040, 6060, and in good standing in the Division.
Description
This course is designed with the assumption that scientific inquiry should form the basis of patient care. The primary goals for this course are to introduce students to the scientific method for clinical problems and evidence-based Practice (EBP) and rehabilitation (EBR). The research process, measurement theory, critical review, research design, and EBP/EBR are emphasized. This course is directly linked to prerequisites for the doctoral project.
