Description
In the past year, Utah companies have been awarded an unprecedented amount of Federal contract dollars. While these funds will contribute to the Rocky Mountain economy, they will also trigger heightened enforcement of Federal contract laws. A key element of this oversight process is a company's requirement to write and maintain an annual affirmative action plan (AAP). Many organizations mistakenly assume they are exempt from this obligation but with evolving Federal directives and state and municipal contractual agreements, now is the time to examine your company's compliance. In this course, we'll examine which contractors and subcontractors are required to have an up-to-date AAP (you may be surprised!) and what the plans should contain to pass an audit. We'll also discuss the Federal review process and on-going record keeping.
