Description
This course will provide students with an overview of the travel and tourism industry. Course content will cover historical, behavioral, societal, and business aspects of travel and tourism. The primary goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of travel and tourism nationally and internationally. Students will explore tourist motivations, the tourism system, and an overview of the impacts of travel and tourism that occur within tourism destinations. This is the introductory course to the sustainable tourism management emphasis.
