Description
Globalization - the growing integration of economies and societies - continues to transform the world economy at a rapid pace. This new pattern of economic and business activities links distant people and places so that what happens in one place influences another through networks of interdependence. Most people can identify the widespread change caused by globalization but many disagree over benefits and costs. this course provides an introduction to geographies of the world economy and a foundation for understanding our increasingly interdependent global business/production network.
