Description
This course is designed for non-majors and majors, and serves as an introduction of the African Rots of Ballroom dances. In this course students investigate and embody the many ballroom dances popular in the United States today that have come to exist through a series of political, social, cultural, moral and geographic changes that began with the dispersal of African people in the Americans via the slave trade.
