FCS 3660 - Language and Literacy Methods for Young Children (PreK-K)

This course covers the developmental foundations and curriculum applications of language and literacy development in early childhood programs. It includes specific ways to plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate language, literacy and social activities for young children (3-5 years). Understanding and practicing the teacher's role in facilitating learning through planning, sequencing and evaluating curricula will be emphasized.
