Balance and flexibility are two key components to healthy aging. The hour will start out focusing on elements of balance including core stabilization, posture, and strength, and will then move to the floor for supported yoga-style stretching poses to target gentle flexibility in muscles and joints. All props are provided and no personal props or items are allowed in the practice area. This is an inclusive class designed for all abilities and is intended as an introduction for new students. If you have taken this class before, you may enjoy the Balance and Flexibility II or Soft Poses classes.
