Description
This course introduces students to the traditions of professional and technical writing. It examines the historical background upon which the field is based, as well as the contemporary research that transforms its practices. It also explores important contemporary issues related to professional communication, from issues of gender to issues of changes in workplace environments. serves as a gateway course for those interested in working in professional and technical writing. Students strongly advised to take WRTG 2010 or equivalent prior to this course.
