Description
Let the chips fly! Class participants will be carving linoleum blocks to create high contrast black and white prints using inspiration from urban, rural or wild landscapes. We will cover proper use of tools, simple registration methods, inking, and printing options. As examples, the class will follow the footsteps of the Utah artist, Everett Reuss. Everett was a wanderer, artist, and Utah legend who used the desert for inspiration in his art. The class will create a small edition of prints to trade with workshop members, just as Everett would have done. All materials provided in the special fee. Class is limited to 8.
