Description
Learn to hand-code PHP, a widely-used general-purpose scripting language especially suited for Web development and database-powered websites. This course covers a basic overview of PHP, including setting up a development environment, becoming familiar with the PHP interpreter, basic language syntax and variables. Other topics will include operators, handling HTML form data, basic security, and the use of sessions or cookies. Pre-Requisites: Students will benefit from a familiarity with hand-coding HTML/XHTML.
