Description
The focus of this course is on theories and methods in group and family therapy as broadly applied across treatment settings. Selected group and family therapy theories are studied and application is expected to be made where possible in practicum placements, seminar discussions, and Caring Connections grief support and therapy groups. Emphasis is placed on the appropriate application of treatment strategies and on understanding the need for ongoing evaluation of clinical practice.
