Description
Join renowned University of Utah faculty to gain a practical understanding of the neuroscience of human cognition. We will consider memory and decision making, the limitations of attention, and the benefits of exercise, and how we perceive the world. Emphasis will be placed on how basic research in these areas can have a direct impact on our daily lives. Activities will be provided so students can immediately begin benefiting from their newly gained knowledge. Faculty from the U of U Cognitive Neuroscience area in the Department of Psychology will team-teach the course based upon their respective fields of expertise.
