Did you know that loss of balance is not a natural part of the aging process? The largest reason for loss of balance is failure to engage our sense of equilibrium. Each class will start out focusing on elements of balance including calming techniques, core stabilization, posture, and strength. We will then move to the floor for supported yoga-style stretching poses to target gentle flexibility in muscles and joints. The class takes place in a small, friendly setting to facilitate individual attention. All props are provided. This is an inclusive class designed for all abilities. Variations will be presented for every balancing level, keeping the yoga-style poses simple or making them more challenging.
