IT IS MANDATORY THAT STUDENTS ATTEND THE FIRST CLASS MEETING FOR ALL 1120 THROUGH 2015 CLASSES. NO REFUNDS ARE ISSUED AFTER THE 2nd DAY FOLLOWING THE 1st CLASS SESSION FOR A NATURAL RESOURCES LEARNING CLASS. Attendance at first class meeting is mandatory. Drops not possible after the 2nd day following this meeting. Class meets Jan 15th only. Field trip Jan 31 and Feb 1. No camping. Practical skills for travel over mountain snow, avalanche causes, snow stability, decision making, terrain selection, and companion rescue. Students will earn a certificate of completion.
