LAW 7890 - Trademark Law

This course explores the creation and protection of trademark rights. The course includes an examination of the legal and economic rationales underlying trademark law and basic issues of trademark law including the prerequisites to trademark protection, the scope of trademark rights, the registration process and the grounds for excluding marks from protection or registration, and the remedies available in trademark litigation.
