Description
Wax resist dyeing on fabric is an ancient art form originating from Indonesia. Learn the fundamentals in this hands-on class using soy wax on both paper and fabric. We will play with a variety of tools and techniques to create both decorative surfaces and wearable art. Students will leave with several completed projects and the knowledge to continue creating batik projects on his/her own. No previous experience required. Class is limited to 8.
